I’ve built marketing emails in most of my professional roles, and I love creating a beautiful email messages with smart copy. I’ve used ActiveCampaign, Mailchimp, Hubspot, and other tools to create email newsletters, event promotions, and email automations. I’ve also integrated ActiveCampaign with Salesforce to sync CRM activity.

Project Management
In my current role, I oversee project management for my team, building processes and collaborating with other teams to create system templates in Monday.com. After designing updated investment marketing materials, I pioneered the quarterly update process for those items, and I also use Monday.com forms with our team workflows to manage our project load. Additionally, I have experience from other roles using Basecamp.

Website Design
A website is one of the very few places online where a brand can completely control their presence, so I’m obsessed with getting sites right. I lead all web design projects for my current organization, taking us from two custom websites to five, and updating each site along the way. I’ve worked with several firms and developers to build more technical pages, but I’ve also built websites on my own. I have basic HTML and CSS knowledge, and I’m proficient in several web builders (YooTheme, Divi Builder, Hubspot, and Squarespace). I can take a webpage from conceptualization, to copy, to design, to an optimized finished product.

Copywriting
My family calls me Word Girl (seriously). I’ve been obsessed with good writing ever since I knew how to pick up a book, and I firmly believe that getting the right words in front of the right people leads to powerful action.
I’m good at learning everything about an audience and writing copy that resonates and converts. As a PR grad, I’m proficient in AP Style, and I’ve written press releases that have secured national coverage. I’m also a Smart Brevity fanatic, and I’ve seen how skimmable, punchy, to-the-point copy in a digital context sets a brand apart. I have an SEO Principles certification from Semrush, and I’ve used AI tools to assist with copy for a variety of projects—however, I’m a firm believer that AI should optimize a writer’s process, not replace the writer. AI is a helpful tool, but it should never be the finished product. People want words from people, not machines. (No AI was used for any of the copy on this site. ☺)

Event Management
The right conference sponsorship or event can be the biggest sales and exposure opportunity a brand has. I’ve assisted with conference booths and sponsorships in several of my roles, and I find joy in the details: coordinating logistics, planning collateral, and designing booths.
In my current role, I help oversee our title sponsorship at the largest event in our industry (over 2,000 attendees annually). The year I singlehandedly led our sponsorship at this conference, our presence resulted in 225 leads, 12.5k impressions, and 607 web sessions. I’ve also assisted with bespoke events for up to 100 attendees from start to finish: sourcing venues, creating presentations, creating collateral, ordering swag, creating full schedules, and coordinating the events as they occur.

I’m not a graphic designer by trade, but document designer? Presentation designer? Trade show booth designer? Brochure designer? Absolutely.
I have an eye for detail and visual harmony, and I’m highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office. I’m experienced in taking a variety of pieces from conception to beautiful, brand-aligned, clearly-communicated final products—from two pagers, to PowerPoints, to conference booths, and everything in between. I have experience working with graphic designers for more illustrative projects, and I know how to clearly communicate design briefs and feedback.
